Something I am curious about is how does Mt. Greenwood compare to another Irish Catholic neighborhood that of Bridgeport which was long the Daley family's stronghold? Bridgeport is of course closer to the Loop and the Daley's of both generations I think would be fair say were and are NOT Bernie Sanders supporters or even adjacent to Bernie. I think the second generation of Daley's were close to both Clinton and Obama.

Most of the neighborhoods that are closer to the Loop as you go south and southwest have change drastically since Old Man Daley was in office. Mt. Greenwood, Beverly, and some of the South Side neighborhoods are the exception. I wouldn't even say that Bridgeport has an "Irish" neighborhood anymore.

Bridgeport is not the same. While Mt. Greenwood is 87% white, Bridgeport is only 35% white. However, Bridgeport is located in the 11th Ward, and Bernie won 11th by 10% (54% to 44%). Considering the 31st Ward, which was the most Hispanic ward, voted 53% for Bernie (less), and most Asian voters (Chinese in this case) strongly supported Hillary in 2016 (which is 40% of Bridgeport now), it's safe to say that Bernie probably performed near-Mt. Greenwood levels among Bridgeport's Irish.
