Seriously, Democrats, we need to talk!
The "Republicans for Harris" movement is brainwashing Democratic voters, and it's worrying.
I don’t know where it came from. Maybe from Republicans trying to make a buck? Maybe from Democrats trying to look at the bright side when it comes to early voting numbers being more Republican than expected? Wherever it comes from, a lot of people in the comment section of my videos have been talking about these elusive “Republican for Harris” voters. They claim that up to 15% of Republicans are going to vote for Kamala Harris to “save America”, with some comical quotes going up to 25%.
Unfortunately for them, the data says otherwise.
Granted, on my live stream two days ago, I thought that something might be going on, and I started to have a bit of a “gut feeling” about this possibility. But then I had to snap back into reality, say “hey, wake the f**k up, Dave”, look at the data that is publicly available and see if there is any truth in this. Furthermore, I had to ask myself “where the hell is this 10% to 15% of Republicans” number coming from?
After looking at the most recent polls, one thing is abundantly clear, which is that Republicans are going to break as much for Kamala Harris as they had for Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden. Yes, it might be one to two percent higher, but there is no poll whatsoever that shows this massive swing to the Harris campaign.
Looking at the graphic below, you can see that nationally, it’s pretty even between Republicans voting for Harris and Democrats voting for Trump. Additionally, there is no fact-based evidence of this elusive 15% number whatsoever.
