Florida State House Partisan Swings
Starting with Florida, Voting Trend will be providing partisan swings for state legislative races. North Carolina is next.
Voting Trend will be doing a number of legislative swing rates for a number of states, with Florida being the first. In this interactive map, you will be able to see the partisan swing ratings for each Florida State House district. You can click here to access the map, which is shown below. The Senate and Congressional maps for Florida will be released this weekend.

The Voting Trend Partisan Swing is based on David Butler's swing from UK elections with a change in formula. The formula is based on the previous US Senate Election, or 'top of the ticket' election in years there are no US Senate races. Essentially, it is the swing needed by the previous US Senate candidate to win the district. The formula is:
